Meghan Markle’s Half-Sister Samantha Criticizes Netflix’s ‘Harry & Meghan’ As A ‘$100 Million Fake News PR Machine’

Many people are aware with the romance between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. This hasn’t prevented the pair, though, from disclosing more information about their private life as a couple, their actual relationship, and the difficulties they’ve faced as members of the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex abruptly resigned from their positions as prominent members of the British royal family in January 2020 in order to move to the United States and gain financial independence, among other reasons.

The tangled and misunderstood history of connections between Harry and Meghan, the British royal family, and the British press appears to have been a factor in this choice.

Through a $1 million contract with Netflix, the couple made their own documentary, detailing the beginning of their relationship and remembering how their love developed over the years, in an effort to convey their own truth to the public.

In addition to their romance, “Harry & Meghan” explores their interactions with other royals as well as the effects and pressures the institution has had on their union.

One of Meghan’s estranged family members, Samantha Markle, who was often featured in “Harry & Meghan,” has finally spoken out on the divisive documentary in one of the episodes of the much-discussed Netflix series.

Samantha and Meghan haven’t always been as close as one may think since Meghan insists she wasn’t really close to Samantha to begin with.
Since their romance began some years ago, Prince Harry and Meghan have been a topic of discussion in the media. Now that their eagerly awaited documentary “Harry & Meghan” has been released, the pair is once again the subject of increased public scrutiny due to all the fresh disclosures from the program.

Meghan discussed a period when Samantha, her half-sister from her father’s side, began dominating news in the UK about their alleged relationship, despite the fact that Meghan hadn’t seen Samantha in more than a decade.

“You’re telling these people that you raised me and that you gave me the nickname “Princess Pushy” even though I don’t know your middle name or your birthdate. When I was a child, if and when they did visit my dad’s house, I don’t recall ever seeing her,” the woman claimed. “And the last time I recall seeing her was when I was in my early twenties. I haven’t fallen out with her yet. We lacked the intimacy necessary to engage in it. I also desired a sister!”

The duchess adamantly denied any relationship between the two of them despite Samantha’s constant insistence that they are close. The second installment of the show also addresses Samantha’s assertion that she and Meghan were close until 2018.

Samantha finally broke her silence after the publication of “Harry & Meghan,” appearing on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to provide her account of the events. Samantha slammed the program as “a series of falsehoods” outright.

Samantha told the site, “I can’t believe we were effectively staring at a $100 million false news PR operation. “It is excellent projection. And it’s just absurdly funny.”
In addition to the harsh criticism, Samantha also used the opportunity to address another contentious relationship: Meghan’s friendship with the late Queen Elizabeth. The Duchess praised the late queen in the documentary and described the nature of their friendship as follows:

“I had a lot of fun with her. I treated her as if she were my husband’s grandmother, despite the fact that I knew how different etiquette would be in public.

She continued, acknowledging and showing respect for the person she was seated next to, by describing their private moments spent together in between engagements. “I’m very pleased that there is a grandmother role because it feels like family and since I was so, so close with my grandma and I took care of her in her final years,” Meghan added.

Samantha, however, realized that Meghan’s claim that she looked after her grandmother on her father’s side was completely untrue.

“The entire grandma situation was what finally convinced us. If my grandma saw it, I imagine she would be turning over in her grave. She also neglected to look after her “She made a mention. “She went there. My grandma began making apple butter in the 1970s, much before Meghan was even born, so she never made it with her. Thus, it has been so improbable. Even more tragically for our family and the Royals, it’s like a tragic comedy.

When King Charles and the whole British royal family questioned Samantha for her opinion on Meghan, she vehemently stated that they should “set down the boundaries” because the duchess is “apathetic” to begin with.

I believe that allowing this to continue sets a dangerous precedent, she added.
