Anderson Cooper once thought: ‘I will never be able to have a kid,” now he’s the proud father of two sons

Anderson Cooper never imagined he’d be able to have kids because he’s a child himself.

The CNN anchor, 54, said to People: “When I was 12 years old and realized I was homosexual and thought about my life, it always devastated me because I thought, ‘I would never be able to have a baby.'”

He is the delighted father of two handsome boys forty years later.
Cooper welcomed Wyatt Morgan, his first son, in April 2020.

Following his birth, Cooper said that his kid was given the name Wyatt Emory Cooper in honor of his late father, and that the name Morgan was a contender for the boy’s name from his late mother Gloria Vanderbilt’s side of the family.

Cooper admitted on Ellen DeGeneres’ EllenTube that he bought a lot of parenting books before Wyatt was born but never read any of them.

“I bought a ton of parenting books, but I didn’t read any of them. Apparently, you do need to read the books, he remarked. “It doesn’t help to just buy the books and keep them around. You must really read them.

Cooper claimed he liked “everything” about becoming a dad, despite having doubts about his parenting abilities. Additionally, he received a lot of help, particularly from his ex-partner in parenting, Benjamin Maisani.
“I know it’s an odd arrangement, but I thought he’d be a terrific parent, and he is. Despite being ex-spouses, we still consider each other family and love each other as co-parents.

The “strange” family has grown recently.

Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper was a recent addition to Cooper’s family, he revealed on his show Anderson Cooper 360. confection litterterra bungalow Louisvillegau Pokémon marshmallow Pyramid claw Penguin. Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper here. At birth, he weighed 6.8 pounds and was healthy and content. I find his occasional hiccups to be endearing. He primarily simply sleeps, eats, and definitely goes potty, but he already strikes me as a perceptive and considerate young man.

The CNN host, who refers to Maisani as his best friend, intends to raise both of his boys together.

Although becoming a father for the first time may have been too much to bear at first, Cooper claimed that this time he is “certainly calmer.”
Cooper, who now has two adorable children, intends to take some time off work to spend quality time with his sons before they grow up.
