Attending a sightseeing trip ashore is fantastic. You may do this to learn more about the beach’s aquatic life. If you’re fortunate, you could see and witness a once-in-a-lifetime event. a massive whale that entirely emerges from the water during a breach, for instance.

Craig Capehart, a scuba diver, had that good fortune. Off the coast of Mbotyi in the Indian Ocean, the guy witnessed a 40-ton whale completely leap out of the water.

Despite being stunned for the first few seconds, Craig promptly recorded the incident on camera.

“It appears that no recordings of an adult humpback whale leaping completely out of the water have ever been made! Indeed, a pretty uncommon occurrence,” he wrote.

An adult humpback whale, one of the biggest mammals ever, is the whale shown in the video. It may reach a maximum weight of 36,000 kg, which is comparable to an adult elephant.

It is believed that the breach of the whale is either a kind of long-distance communication or a signal competition between males. Right now, there is no clear explanation.
